Written by Academy Award Winner Alan Arkin, this One-Act quickly became a MagicMouth Theatre favorite. It plays with the sheer magic of make-believe in theatre, calling forth virtual objects and the bones of contention; bringing together two strangers, hired to unload unspecified merchandise, for an unspecified reason. One likes to be in control and insists on a trial run of the job with imaginary objects. The other gets into the full swing of the weirdness with so much ingenious pantomime that the absurdity of it is indescribable and must be seen to be appreciated. A deeply funny, finely graded psychological portrait that becomes a tribute to the conjuring powers of the mind and of the theater.
